Under general supervision from the Executive Director, thisposition will perform administrative assistant duties for the Executive Director and will perform a variety of high level HR recruitment and retention functions to include research and preparation for Agency Board Meeting, retention and recruitment programs and events, on-boarding of new employees, and Agency “Brand”. The incumbent will do any other related work as required.DUTIES:1.Prepare Board Agenda and Background Information including closed session items related to employment with the Agency.2.Compose memoranda, reports and other correspondence on a wide range of subjects related to the Agency’s operations.3.Assist in keeping the calendar of the Executive Director.4.Attend a variety of meetings including Board, Staff, and Communication Committee, and prepare minutes.5.Assist in research and preparation for Collective Bargaining. 6.Maintenance of Job Descriptions.7.Advertisement and Recruitment for all open positions.8.Coordination of interviews; compliance with Agency practices, all laws and regulations.9.Coordination of all employee pre-employment tests and screenings.10.Development and Maintenance of new employee packets and information.11.Responsible for coordinating and maintaining employee recruitment events and advertisement based on Agency needs. 12.Responsible for coordinating and maintaining employee recognition and retention programs for the Agency.13.Development, maintenance, and monitoring of the Agency’s “Brand”; including but not limited to, the Social Media presence of the Agency.14.Preparation and coordination of legally-required letters and notifications to employees related to initial employment and on-boarding of Agency employees.15.Assist in maintenance of Personnel Files.16.Coordination and support relative to health and welfare benefits as it relates to on-boarding employees.17.Coordinates Agency sponsored events such as, back to school in-service, driver appreciation, holiday party, and others.18.Assist in the maintenance of employee absence records.19.Performs Other Duties as Assigned
