DUI Program Manager

About the Position
Working in the Substance Use Disorder Section, Driving Under the Influence (DUI) program, the DUI Program Manager oversees daily operations of the program, supervises and leads staff, works collaboratively with other program managers, and participates on inter- and intra-agency committees. The ideal candidate for this position will possess:
- AODS Counselor registration or certification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders including disenfranchised and underserved populations
- Knowledge of relevant programming needs, data systems, regulations, the Sonoma County System of Care, and resources pertaining to behavioral health clients
- In-depth knowledge of organizational, operational, and programmatic concepts and practices commonly applied by public, private, and nonprofit agencies and organizations engaged in behavioral health activities
- Program development, management, and continuous quality improvement experience with programs designed to deliver services through a collaborative approach to community health in countywide and local settings
- Experience developing and managing contract relationships with different community agencies
- Supervisory experience in a behavioral health setting
Please Note: The DUI program is a mandated service overseen by the State of California, and is bound by Title 9 of the California Code of Regulations, which requires that candidates for this position have:
- Two years of experience providing alcohol and/or other drug treatment or recovery services; and
- One year of experience supervising personnel; and
- One year of experience managing an accounting system, or preparing or directing the preparation of budgets or cost reports. Satisfactory completion of two college-level courses in accounting may be substituted for the one year of experience required.
