APOSD Administrative Coordinator
$4,576 - $5,562 Monthly
The APOSD Administrative Coordinator performs administrative, accounting, and human resources work in support of the District. This position will:
- Coordinate agenda packet preparation for the Board of Directors, including finalizing reports, contracts, and supporting documents; track and implement revisions requested by staff throughout the review process, and deliver final product to the County Administrator's Office
- Provide guidance and support to staff throughout the Request for Proposal and contracting process; develop simple contracts from checklists and complex contracts in collaboration with County Counsel
- Maintain contract files, including tracking and updating vendor insurance information
- Participate in various District internal committees to propose process improvements
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong interpersonal skills, using the ability to exercise initiative, tact, and good judgment
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Experience writing reports with knowledge of language mechanics, syntax, and English composition
- Familiarity with Brown Act requirements for public meetings
- Knowledge of modern office procedures and computer programs including Microsoft Office
The formal classification title for this position is Administrative Aide. This employment list may also be used to fill future APOSD full-time, part-time, or extra-help (temporary) positions as they occur during the active status of the list.
