Salary:
$69,721.60 - $84,739.20 Annually (3% increase effective October 18, 2018)
Description:
The Substance Use Disorder Treatment Deputy Director typically oversees program policy, implementation, and budget, ensuring that clients are served effectively and regulations are met. The Deputy Director is a liaison to community partners, contractors, and the public regarding program services and addressing community concerns.
The Substance Use Disorder Treatment program of Mendocino County is committed to providing services to residents of Mendocino County of diverse backgrounds. We offer a culturally competent, gender responsive, trauma informed system of care for adults and adolescents.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in AOD, Public Health, Psychology, Social Work or related field; and five years of progressively responsible related experience in an AOD or Human Service program with at least two years in a management or supervisory capacity; or, a combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job. Substitution: Experience performing management level duties in an AOD or human service program including oversight of major programs may be substituted for the education on a year-for-year basis
