Two current vacancies in Ukiah. At-Will position; exempt from Civil Service. The Administrative Analyst series provides an excellent career path for those interested in pursuing a career with the County of Mendocino.

Administrative Analyst – Executive Office:

The position will work within the Executive Office and provides a variety of analytical and administrative tasks including preparing and processing documents; review and prepare responses to public inquiries; research and compile information related to special projects and reports; coordinating meeting dates and calendars; establishing and maintaining records and files; assist with preparing items to be presented to the Board of Supervisors.The ideal candidate would possess top level writing and reading comprehension skills, an ability to understand complex systems and how they can be improved, understanding of local government, be self-motivated, possess an ability to balance multiple demands, and a drive to bring projects to a conclusion.

Administrative Analyst – Executive Office, Central Services Unit:

The position will work within the Executive Office and provides oversight and/or administers the County's Real Property program, including real estate and asset management (selling or acquisition of County real property and administering and maintaining an inventory of County-owned property), County wide competitive bidding (including Request for Proposals/Request for Quotations/Request for Qualifications), and County-wide contract tracking and maintenance (reviewing and analyzing all County contracts for compliance with County policies, State and/or Federal mandates, and adherence to appropriate insurance and bidding requirements). The ideal candidate would possess top level writing and reading comprehension skills, an ability to understand complex systems and how they can be improved, understanding of local government, be self-motivated, possess an ability to balance multiple demands, and a drive to bring projects to a conclusion.
